The SmartShunt is connected using a VE.Direct connection.
For systems that require battery monitoring but desire fewer wiring and clutter, the Smart Shunt IP65 is an excellent substitute for a BMV battery monitor.The Bluetooth-enabled SmartShunt also contains a VE.Direct connector and an auxiliary connection that may be used to monitor a second battery, monitor the midpoint, or connect a temperature sensor.
