The SmartShunt IP65 is available in a 500A, 1000A, or 2000A version and is water resistant.
The VictronConnect app on your phone (or tablet) and the Smart Shunt IP65 can be connected through Bluetooth, allowing you to simply read out all monitored battery metrics such as state of charge, remaining time, historical data, and much more.
As an alternative, a GX device can connect to and read the SmartShunt IP65.
The SmartShunt is connected using a VE.Direct connection.
For systems that require battery monitoring but desire fewer wiring and clutter, the Smart Shunt IP65 is an excellent substitute for a BMV battery monitor.
The Bluetooth-enabled SmartShunt also contains a VE.Direct connector and an auxiliary connection that may be used to monitor a second battery, monitor the midpoint, or connect a temperature sensor.
